Arcadia: They recruit all year round into Buying, Merchandising, Finance and Logistics. In the buying role you would start as a Buyers Admin Assistant. For the product areas of the business you need a fashion related degree or buying and merchandising management. Graduate opportunities in Merchandising start with an entry level role as a Merchandising Administration Assistant.
There are also opportunities internationally.
They are not restrictive on the type of degree for this role, but have a preference for candidates with numerical degrees such as BSc Business Management, International Business, Accounting and Finance, Maths, Economics, and Humanities degrees in Geography, English, Psychology, and Sociology.
The Finance role involves a rotation comprising three phases – Buying & Merchandising Finance, Retail Finance and a Group Role looking at central costs. You will also study towards your CIMA exams.The Logistics Programme requires you to ensure that the stores have the right stock at the right time. Due to the analytical nature they look for candidates with the following degrees; BSc Business Management, International Business, Accounting and Finance, Maths, Economics and Psychology.
