There are a number of university sandwich courses that are 4 years, offering either 6 or 12 months working in industry. There are a number of employers offering work placements for these students. Most of the placements are for a 12-month period.
Here is a list of some of the leading employers. The list is not exhaustive. Many employers offer a range of placements spanning technology, finance, operations, HR, marketing, consulting etc. So a company that may seem to be technical (e.g. Rolls Royce) may also offer finance or HR placements. Equally an investment Bank will offer technology and operations placements alongside front office equity sales or investment banking positions. Use the search function to help you.
